Spectadur PB40MS grades are advanced compounds that deliver enhanced strength and stiffness values. The material is UV/AO stabilized.
Standard grades are built on 40 w.-% mechanically extracted (no chemicals used) rice husk, taken directly from a local rice mill. Rice husk replaces 40% of virgin PP. Plants absorb atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) as they grow. Using biomass like rice husk in a direct form to create products turn these constitutes into an effective CO2 storage resulting into a more permanent removal of CO2 from the atmosphere.
Part wall-thickness shall be greater than 2.5 mm.
All Spectadur grades are delivered in natural, speckled color; they can be delivered according to customer color specifications or can be blended with any traditional color masterbatch during part manufacturing.
